Overview
First Care Medical is a regional medical services platform focused on improving affordable access to private healthcare services across The Bahamas, Jamaica, and the United States. As the platform expanded, the delivery of new functionality depended on a stronger engineering foundation and more confidence in deployment.
EX Labs was retained by Caribbean Local Ltd to support that effort. We were brought in to assess the condition of the existing codebase, identify technical risks, and help create a more stable base for ongoing development.
From there, the work extended into infrastructure stabilization and deployment support for a new module, along with the practical engineering assistance needed to keep feature delivery moving. That combination of DevOps and software support helped reduce operational friction and improved the path from development into release.
The result was a healthier platform foundation for continued product development and a more dependable process for shipping updates in a healthcare-oriented environment where reliability matters.
